The Kingdom's ecosystem is built on the Polygon blockchain.
Polygon is an Ethereum Layer 2 solution that allows us to offer affordable transactions and cutting-edge standards like the RMRK modular NFTs on a secure and reliable network.
For these instructions, we have used Metamask as an example. Below you can find more information about adding Polygon Network to any wallet.
Go to https://metamask.io/download/ to download and install Metamask.
Follow the instructions, write down your seed phrase, and finish the setup.
Go to the Polygon Scan website: https://polygonscan.com/
Scroll down the page to the bottom.
Click on ‘Add Polygon Network’.
A window will open inside Metamask. Approve the prompt.
Look for an 'Add Network' option in your wallet.
Add in the following credentials: Network name: Polygon Mainnet Network URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/ Chain ID: 137 Currency Symbol: MATIC Block Explorer URL (Optional): https://polygonscan.com
You should be setup and good to go!
Use a centralized exchange (CEX) to swap for or purchase your $MATIC and then send it to your mint wallet. Because ETH gas fees are high this is often cheaper. We cannot recommend any specific CEX to you as access varies by country and we do not endorse any specific one.
Use the official Polygon Portal to both bridge from Ethereum and swap to $MATIC.

Make sure you bridge to Polygon PoS and we recommend turning on the "refuel gas" option to purchase 1 $MATIC so you have enough to perform the swap.
To cover gas costs recommend having roughly 0.1 $MATIC per item that you wish to mint.
Beyond that, Avatars can be purchased for the equivalent of USD price of the generation in $MATIC.
Always double-check URLs and smart contract addresses.
Be cautious of gas fees and slippage.
Keep your private keys secure and never share them.
Don't accept DMs for anyone and interact with the team through the official support channels.
Remember, interacting with DApps involves certain risks including smart contract vulnerabilities and fluctuating gas fees. Do your research and understand these risks before proceeding.
