Generation 1 Avatars were able to be pre-ordered through The Kingdom's application for $30. Pre-ordered Avatars were airdropped to users' accounts when the Gen 1 mint went live.
Pre-ordering allows community members to create their Avatars at their own pace without the stress of Mint Day. It also ensures that no one misses out on the mint because they are busy or away from their computer during the mint week.
When you want to buy a new game, you are not expected to obtain it within a short window, and after that only on the secondary market; Avatars and Tales of Aesor are designed to be just as accessible.
When a community member pre-ordered Avatars, they qualified for free Roro Chests depending on how many Avatars they purchased.

Start by selecting the "Pre-Order Avatars" button in the Avatars section of the Armory or on the Dashboard. If you already have free Avatars created, then you will be able to pre-order them. If not, you can create new Avatars on the pre-order screen or even order random Avatars.
Choose a bundle on the left, then select which Avatars you would like to use to fill the bundle. If you do not have enough Avatars, simply click "Fulfill Bundle" to generate enough random Avatars to proceed to check out. You can edit these Avatars by selecting "Edit Avatar" on the card.
Once you have selected enough Avatars to fill the bundle, the "Proceed to Payment" button will turn gold, and you can check out using a variety of cryptocurrencies.
If you order the 50, 150 or 350 Avatar bundles, you will only be able to receive randomized Avatars.
Pre-ordered Avatars will not start to generate daily Silver until they are air-dropped during the Generation 1 mint. This is also when their gear and its rarity will be revealed.
