The Volkran’dur, or ‘Fire Beneath,’ is a violent and primitive subsection of the Volkran race that thrives in the shadowy inferno beneath the volcanoes of Western Aesor. They live scattered across a vast network of settlements amongst the underground maze known as ‘The Unborn Path,’ though their civilization remains loyally united behind the capital of Zhor’dur and the dual leadership of The Dhoran Khal, ‘The Inheritors.’
Currently, Uk-Hunr and Ul-Rutmrer lead the Valkran’dur, in the traditional shamanic and military capacities respectively, as they continue to spread their ruthless ‘Way of the Blazing Hand’ to the furthest reaches of Aesor’s sprawling cave system, further perpetuating the victor-less Buried Wars against their greatest underground adversaries, the Gruul.
