The Kingdom's leaderboards offer community members a means of tracking how their Avatars and Questing rank against the rest of the community. There are three leaderboards currently on the application:
Quests
Avatar Gear Score
Avatar Trait Popularity
The Quests Leaderboard displays the position of community members in the currently active Community Rewards Series by the total amount of quest points. At the end of the series, rewards are granted based on leaderboard position, with previous prizes including a Steamdeck, thousands of dollars in USDC, Avatars, and more.
This leaderboard ranks all Avatars by total Gear Score. Clicking on an Avatar brings up its information page, which displays which gear it is equipped with and other helpful information about that Avatar.
In most NFT collections, the most valuable NFT is the one that has the scarcest traits and is often owned by whoever has the most money. In The Kingdom, traits are chosen and are purely cosmetic, and instead, the gear an Avatar is equipped with determines its value in the ecosystem.
Because community members could choose their traits, the Avatars with the scarcest traits were those that the community valued the least. So, this leaderboard does the opposite of most rarity rankings and sorts the Avatars with the most widely chosen traits at the top.
As Avatars are unique and there is a limited amount of each possible trait combination, Trait Popularity can also be seen as a ranking of which Avatar and/or traits have the fewest possible valid combinations remaining and are, therefore, the scarcest when it comes to minting new Avatars.
