The People of Alar, humans, inhabit the bountiful plains of southern Aesor. Their capital, Trigate, the City of Hope, is the only true multi-cultural metropolis on Aesor, and acts as a diplomatic hub between the races.
Society on the Plains of Alar is divided into strict Revered Orders, each with its own responsibilities and customs. For instance, the Chaplet Ring is responsible for rule and administration, while the Guild of the Scepter Vault manages the banks. Upon reaching the age of sixteen a citizen of Alar must formally choose their Order and have its symbol tattooed prominently on their body; those without Order tattoos are considered outlaws.
While humans possess little innate magic, the Plains of Alar have been blessed to produce year-round crops, and human scientists are eagerly pioneering a method of harnessing the powers of the natural world for themselves. What they do not possess in brute physical or magical strength, the People of Alar make up with their resourcefulness, diplomacy, and determination.
